The Ann Stevens House offered a lovely retreat with huge camphor trees and a picturesque setting. I loved my Deluxe King Room with its own bathroom and jet tub. The attention to detail in the decor created a beautiful ambiance. The owner, Emily, made me feel right at home and was always available to offer assistance. Enjoyed the screened porch with rocking chairs for relaxing after a day of exploring. However, the lack of breakfast service was disappointing, especially for a B&B. The pub being closed was another letdown, as it would have been nice to unwind at the end of the day. Room storage was minimal, which could be an issue for longer stays.

The kids loved exploring the gardens, and the large, comfy rooms suited our family needs perfectly, especially with two little ones in tow. The charming decor added warmth to our stay, making everything feel right at home.
In my wife’s opinion, the lack of breakfast was a big letdown for our family.

pleasant stay but some improvements needed
The house and carriage house are truly beautiful! ! Our host, Emily, demonstrated remarkable kindness by offering us a room change due to my husband's disability. I particularly enjoyed the garden view from our room, providing a calming atmosphere.
Although the stay was generally enjoyable, the bathroom could have been cleaner.

We had an amazing time! The room was beautifully decorated and the private porch with a ceiling fan was perfect for relaxing. Plus, Emily surprised us with a scrabble game, which was a delightful touch! The only downside was that breakfast was a bit late at 9:30 am.

The screened porch was perfect for sittin' and sippin’ sweet tea, y’all! The room was cozy and the bed felt like a cloud. Emily gave us the warmest welcome, and we loved hearin' about the history of the place. Just wish the lounge was open longer—would've loved to unwind there more!

The room was beautifully furnished, just like something out of a magazine, and the owners were super friendly , making sure we had everything we needed. Plus, we enjoyed strollin' through the nearby loop walk before breakfast, which is a nice touch to start the day.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but nothing too outlandish for the experience provided.
